Hello,

My name is Randi Ahlstrom and I am a first grade teacher (intern) at Jackson Elementary School. I am beginning my first year teaching and I have been employed with the Butts County School system for 5 years. I began in the special education department assisting the online psychologist and moved to the administrative assistant position in Teaching and Learning. I have completed my associates degree in Early Childhood education and will soon complete my Bachelor’s degree from Mercer university in General/ Special Education. I’am a proud former panda and looking forward to teaching at the elementary school I once attended. 

  I have two children Aleigha and Colton, who both attend Butts County schools,and I enjoy spending my time with them! I have been married for about 15 years to my middle/ high school sweetheart. I currently have a BIG dog who is my other child. He is a great dane, mastiff, bloodhound mix and a cuddle bug. I am from Jackson, I graduated from Jackson High School in 2010. I worked in the medical field until I moved to my dream career in education in 2021. I enjoy trips to the beach to go seashell hunting, Georgia Bulldog games and spending time with my amazing family. I am grateful to have the opportunity to teach at Jackson Elementary school and help our students grow and succeed in their future endeavors.
