Mrs. Goolsby

My name is Mrs. Christy Goolsby and I am excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher.  I have worked in Butts County Schools for eighteen years.  This is my fifth year teaching kindergarten and I cannot wait to get to know each of my students.  

I graduated from Mercer University in 2015.  I received my masters in elementary education at Georgia Southern University in 2021.

I have lived in Butts County for 23 years.  My husband and I have four adult children, two grandsons, and two dogs.  Our two youngest children were both JES Pandas and graduates of Jackson High School.  I enjoy traveling, reading, camping, and spending time with my family.  Disney World is my favorite place to visit.  

I know that you will always be your child’s first and most influential teacher and as I get to know them this year, I will need your expertise to optimize our learning environment.  I know that a child’s first school experiences are very important and my hope is that together we can make this a positive experience for everyone.  Please let me know if there is anything you or your child need as we embark on this journey together.
