McCurry, Scarlett

Hello! I am Ms. McCurry and I am beyond excited that your child will be a part of our magical 4th grade class! I  started my career with Butts County Schools in 2017 as a paraprofessional at Jackson High School. I held that position for 5 years, and then transferred to Jackson Elementary School for my student teaching. I graduated (with Honors) with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Elementary from Middle Georgia University in 2022, and taught in Griffin for 2 years before returning to my home school! Within those 2 years, I also attended West Georgia University where I obtained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education; and attended Georgia College & State University where I obtained my Specialist's Degree in Elementary Education. I am looking forward to working with your child this year and celebrate their accomplishments with you!
